The DGT Smart Boards can be used for tournament broadcasts as well as for private individual use.

IMPORTANT: To use the e-Board you need electronic chess pieces (e-Pieces) . There are many different sets of pieces, made of plastic or wood, to choose from.

For use at home, a " DGT Smart Board connection set " is available separately as an accessory , which includes a USB -C cable (3 meters), a cable for connecting a DGT 3000, a free ChessBase DVD with premium access (100 days) to the playchess.com server and the Fritz 14 engine.

If the Smart Board is used for tournament broadcasting with multiple Smart Boards and/or e-Boards, “ Smart Board tournament connection sets ” are necessary.
